Most ideation tools ask too much
Good digital tools support ideation in workshops and online. Most of them, however, require registration, a login, and a bit of learning before anyone can contribute. The threshold rises, some participants drop out, and the tool ends up unused.
We originally built IdeaMinit for ourselves because we wanted something lighter.
Participating takes seconds
Participants get a link and open the board in a desktop or mobile browser. They see everyone else’s ideas organized into categories, add their own with a few clicks, and comment on others.
Nothing to install. No account to create.
Board language is set per board and is currently English, Finnish, or Swedish. Internal boards can run in one language while partner or client boards run in another, all in the same application.

A concept already proven in practice
IdeaMinit is not a new experiment. Its predecessor, Idea Wall, gathered thousands of participants in more than ten countries. When the underlying technology and interface conventions moved on, we rebuilt the product on current technology and gave it a new name.
One thing stayed the same: it is still as simple to use.
Manage
A board admin defines the categories and can moderate published ideas when needed. A super user adds and manages your organization’s boards and their admins, and can set access codes per board.
There is no limit on the number of boards or participants.
Extend
Board content can be downloaded as CSV or JSON. CSV opens directly in a spreadsheet for reporting and further work.
JSON preserves the structure of ideas, comments, and categories, so AI-assisted analysis can follow the discussion as a whole, not just individual ideas. Hundreds of ideas can be grouped by theme, recurring suggestions identified, and feedback summarised for a management team, without anyone having to read every card by hand.

IdeaMinit suits companies, projects, and public sector organizations. Common uses include:

Your data in your own database, in the EU
We install a dedicated, brand-matched application for you on a server located in the EU, with its own database. Unlike typical SaaS services, your data does not reside in a shared database alongside other customers’ data.
We can also connect the application to your identity management, so selected boards are visible only to identified users in your organization. Other boards can stay open to outside participants such as clients or event audiences.
Test the beta
The rebuilt IdeaMinit is now in beta, and we are looking for organizations to put it to work on real sessions.
A limited number of beta testers get full access at no cost during the beta period, direct contact with the team, and a say in what we build next. In return, we ask for honest feedback on what works and what does not.
